How You Support Our Achievements

Mosinee Trap Team MidwayUSA Foundation Team Endowment Fund

In 2018, our program kicked off with 25 youth. We aligned with the Mosinee School District and teams in the Great Northern Conference to participate in conference shootouts and at the SCTP State shoot each year.  We’ve grown rapidly to a team with over 70 members and 17 formal volunteers and assistant coaches.

The year 2021 brought us many "firsts". One of our athletes, Brock Seis, shot 100/100 targets in his senior year. We also took athletes to a new event in Wabeno, WI where Brock won the overall high shooter trophy.

We won 4/5 classes in the Great Northern Conference league, 4/5 classes in the Conference Shoot-Out, and took many individual medals.

At the State Championships, our Rookie squad took 3rd place (out of 22 teams) and Lexie Flees won the 4th place medal in the JV class. We had an athlete compete in the Handicap Trap event for the very first time in addition to our regular Singles Trap event at State.  We also had our first recipient of a $500 SCTP scholarship, Tucker Stepan.

For the first time, we took six athletes to Nationals at the Cardinal Shooting Center in Marengo, Ohio.  Kaeden Ludwig landed in 6th place in the Nation in his class!  In 2022, we plan to return with double the number of athletes and compete in additional events during the week.

Our community shooting team has a MidwayUSA Foundation Team Endowment and every donation we receive for that endowment is matched! You can donate right to our team through their website and 100% of your donation benefits our team and will be matched and your donation is tax-deductible!

2022 looks to be the best year yet but these events and opportunities are expensive and our Midway account will help to support these activities.  As this account grows, we will become more and more self-sufficient!  Any donation, no matter the size, is greatly appreciated!
