~Cosmic Trap Shoot Information~

Join us for our **FIRST Halloween Cosmic Trap Shoot**! This unique event will feature glowing targets under blacklights, creating a fun and challenging shooting experience.​

Event Details:

Cost: $10.00 for 25 targets  
1. You can sign up for multiple rounds, as time permits 
2. Trial Event: This event will help us plan for two additional "Cosmic" shoots in 2025 3. Proceeds will be used to purchase additional UV lights for House Two

 

Costume Contest:

We encourage everyone to wear a Halloween costume*—the best costume of the night will win a prize!

*Be prepared to remove your costume for shooting.  It should, in no way, impair mobility, speech, hearing, or vision.


 

               What is a Cosmic Trap Shoot?

This is a "Cosmic" or "Blacklight" Trap Shoot, where the targets glow as they emerge from the house, similar to "Cosmic Bowling," but with shotguns. There will be minimal backlighting at the 16-yard line, creating a visually exciting challenge for shooters.

 

                   ~Tips for a Great Night~

1. Fiber Optic Sights: These are not necessary but can make it easier to see your front bead in low light.

2. Extra Layers: Keep in mind that extra clothing can affect your length of pull (LOP). Heated jackets or vests are a good option.

3. Footwear: Insulated boots or hiking shoes are recommended depending on the weather.

4. Light Gloves: These may be helpful if it’s chilly.

Please note that while the clubhouse will be heated, the shooting line will not be.
